2003 All-America, 2003 WICCCA Academic All-America Two-time All-Southeast Region (2001, 2003) 2003 Cross Country: Competed in six events for the Tar Heels • Finished first in the UNC Challenge with a time of 17:19.34 (5K) • Took fourth in the Great American XC Festival with a time of 17:29.4 (5K) • In the NCAA Pre-Nationals, she finished eighth with a time of 20:38.4 (6K) • In the ACC Championships, she finished 19th with a time of 21:20.9 (6K) • With a time of 20:17.0 (6K) in the Southeast Regional she finished third • Her final event was the NCAA Championships where she finished 31st with a time of 20:40.2 (6K). 2002 Cross Country: Competed in five events for UNC • Had the second best time for the Tar Heels at the NCAA Championship, 21:13.5, good enough for 91st place • Took 15th place at the Southeast Regional with a time of 20:49.1 in the 6K race • Finished the ACC Championships in 24th place with a time of 22:04.5 (6K) • Competed at the Asics/Pre-National meet and finished 23rd in the blue race (21:06.9/6K) • Was 19th at the Great American XC Festival with a time of 19:06.4 (5K). 2001 Cross Country: Ran in all seven events for the Tar Heels • Finished fourth at Carolina Challenge in 17:33.90 (6 mile relay) • Placed 10th at the NCAA Southeast Regional in 21:51 (6K) earning All-Southeast region honors • Ended the ACC Championships in 24th place with her time of 22:29.3 (6K) • Placed 48th at the NCAA Championships in 21:46 (6K). Prep: High school national champion in the mile, setting the national high school meet record of 4:42 • Finished third at high school nationals in the javelin • New Jersey Athlete of the Year in 2001 • Nike National Indoor Mile Champion in 2001 • New Jersey Group State Champions 1998, 1999, 2000 • Was the outdoor 1500m state champion, as well as the 3200m and javelin state champion • Finished 3rd at the outdoor state championships in the javelin.
