Saw action in 39 games and made eight starts, including six in center field and two at designated hitter • Hit .231 (9-for-39) with 17 runs scored and three RBI • Suffered an eye injury in the preseason, which limited his playing time for much of the season • Posted a .318 on-base percentage • Singled against Coastal Carolina Feb. 28 in first at-bat of the season • Went 2-for-3 with two runs scored against Towson March 20 • Top performance of the season came in against UNC Wilmington April 3 with two hits, three runs scored and two RBI • Had back-to-back pinch-hit singles in a doubleheader sweep of Maryland May 19 • Scored three runs in NCAA Tournament play. Summer 2006: Played only one game for the Wilson Tobs of the Coastal Plain League before ending his season with a broken collarbone • Went 1-for-4 and stole a base.
