Season Notes: Carolina's defensive player of the year as selected by the coaches • Second on the team with eight defensive player of the game honors (Sacred Heart, Gonzaga, Ohio State, UNC Asheville, Virginia, at NC State, at Georgia Tech, Eastern Kentucky) • Won the defensive award one time as a freshman (Carolina's win at No. 1-ranked Duke) • Third on the team with 54 offensive rebounds and 39 steals • Scored in double figures three times (13 vs. Duke, 10 vs. High Point and 10 vs. USC).
