Joined the team as a walk-on in 2005 • Played for coach Glen Padgett at North Mecklenburg High School in Charlotte • Named all-conference as a wide receiver and defensive back as a senior • Had 482 yards relieving and made 47 tackles and picked off six passes • As a junior, he had 352 yards receiving, 62 rushing yards, made 37 tackles and had one interception • Was named the school's student-athlete of the year as a senior • Also ran track and was the team's most valuable player as a senior • Born on Sept. 23, 1986, in Columbia, S.C. • Chemistry major. |
