2006 - Junior Season
Played in all 12 games as Carolina's nickel back Had one tackle and broke
up a pass in the win at Duke Had one tackle and broke up a pass in the
victory over NC State Made two primary tackles and recovered a fumble
against Georgia Tech Had one primary tackle, one assist and a quarterback
hurry against Notre Dame Played, but did not have a tackle against Wake
Forest Had one assisted tackled against Virginia Recorded three tackles

2004 - Freshman Season
Played in all 12 games, including the Continental Tire Bowl Primarily used
on special teams Had four tackles, including three primary stops Made
two tackles at Wake Forest Redshirted in 2003.
Douglas Byrd High School

Earned all-region honors from PrepStar Carried 197 times for 1,277 yards
and 10 touchdowns as a senior, including 249 yards and three touchdowns in
Byrd's 38-8 upset win over Greenville Rose in the second round of the state
playoffs Led the Mid-Southeastern 4-A Conference in rushing as a junior,
carrying 199 times for 1,359 yards and 14 touchdowns during the regular
