2004 - Junior Season
Had five catches for 79 yards and a touchdown •Scored his first career touchdown on a 2-yard pass from Darian Durant in the third quarter of Carolina's 31-24 win over Wake Forest • That play gave the Tar Heels a 24-10 lead •Saw limited action against Virginia Tech and did not play against Miami • Injured his ankle and knee in the loss at Utah • Made a 12-yard reception on the game's opening play against FSU • Caught a career-high three passes for 65 yards in the win over William & Mary.

2003 - Sophomore Season
Played in 10 of 12 games • Was forced into action when starting tight end Bobby Blizzard went down with a severe viral illness early in the season and played well • Had two receptions for 28 yards, including a long of 21 yards, in the loss at Maryland • Played a season-high 33 snaps at Wake Forest.
