2004 - Junior Season
Walk-on safety who started three games, including the first two of the season against William & Mary and Virginia • Finished the season with 17 tackles, including 11 primary stops, 1.5 tackles for losses and one pass breakup • Posted a season-high five tackles and broke up a pass against Boston College in the Continental Tire Bowl • Assisted on two tackles against Utah, including 1-yard tackle for loss •Assisted on a tackle against NC State •Started against Louisville and assisted on three tackles •Had five tackles at Virginia, including an assist on a tackle for loss.
At Carolina
Joined the team as a walk-on prior to the start of the 2001 season • Earned "Super Ram" status in the weight room in 2003 and 2004 • Switched from wide receiver to safety this spring • Played football and basketball at Northeastern • Earned all-conference honors and was named the team's MVP as a senior • Team captain •Coached by Eric McDaniels • Won the coaches' award in football and basketball • Voted Most Improved on the basketball team and was a team captain • Member of the National Honor Society.
