FOXBOROUGH, MASS. - Four outstanding University of North Carolina men's lacrosse players were named Saturday to the NCAA Division I Men's Lacrosse All-America Teams chosen by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association. Junior midfielder Ben Hunt was named a third-team All-America while senior defenseman Tim Kaiser, senior midfielder Nick Tintle and junior goalkeeper Grant Zimmerman were named honorable mention All-Americas.

The USILA All-America committee, consisting of a voting panel of over 30 NCAA Division I head coaches, is chaired by Willie Scroggs, Senior Associate Athletic Director at the University of North Carolina.

Kaiser had 33 ground balls in 2008, led the Tar Heels with 11 caused turnovers and scored three goals on four shots this season. Tintle was also an honorable mention All-America in '08.
