JUNIOR - 2006 SEASON
Continued to solidify his position as one of the top center backs in the nation ... Earned first-team All-ACC honors ... Named to the NSCAA/adidas All-South second team for second straight year ... Chosen to Top Drawer Soccer's National Team of the Season First Team ... Earned the Tar Heels' Mike Thompson Most Valuable Player Award for the second straight season ... Selected to all-tournament teams at the Wake Forest adidas Classic and Carolina Nike Classic ... Saw action in all 20 games and started 19 ... Anchored a defense that posted a 0.77 goals against average and eight shutouts on the season ... Instrumental in shutouts of nationally-ranked Ohio State and Penn State ... Started 23 of 24 matches for the Tar Heels ... Provided steady defense in the middle, as Carolina allowed just 17 goals all season and set a school record with 15 shutouts ... Sat out the win at William & Mary due to a red card received at Maryland Oct. 14 ... Took one shot.
FRESHMAN - 2004 SEASON
Named to Atlantic Coast Conference All-Freshman Team ... One of three players to start all 21 games for the Tar Heels ... Helped lead UNC defense to six shutouts and a 1.35 goals against average ... Lone point of the season came on an assist against South Carolina Oct. 16 ... Did not attempt a shot.
