Carolina Men's Soccer Tickets On Sale Now

June 25, 2008

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - Single-game tickets for the 2008 North Carolina men's soccer season are on sale now at TarHeelBlue.com. The Tar Heels will play nine matches at Fetzer Field, highlighted by meetings with rivals Virginia and Wake Forest. Single-game tickets cost just $5, and all seats are general admission.

UNC will open the 2008 season on its home pitch with the annual Carolina Nike Classic against Florida International and VCU, set for Aug. 29 and 31. Wake Forest rounds out the four-team field.

In addition to the league meetings with the Cavaliers (Oct. 3) and Demon Deacons (Nov. 1), the Tar Heels will also host NC State (Sept. 12) and Virginia Tech (Oct. 18) in always-intense Atlantic Coast Conference action.

UNC will also host non-conference matches with Elon, East Tennessee State and UNC Asheville in September.

Carolina's road slate is highlighted by non-league matches with South Carolina and UCLA in Winston-Salem, as well as trips to Duke (Oct. 10) and Clemson (Oct. 25) in conference action.
