As a Sophomore: Won two dual matches against Quincy Hawley of N.C. A&T and Kevin Killeavy of Georgetown, No. 6 singles spot • Recorded a 2-2 singles record at the season-opening Napa Valley Challenge • Won the UNC Fall Invitational B Flight singles, defeating Radford's Brandon Johnson in the final • Defeated William & Mary's Kavi Sud in the first round of the ITA Mideast Region Championships before falling to #99 Henrique Cancado of ODU in the round of 64 • Teamed with Will Plyler to win three doubles matches at the UNC Fall Invitational. As a Freshman: Advanced to the finals of the Groot Memorial Invitational with a 6-2, 6-0 win over NC State's Mason Schermerhorn • Captured the A-B Flight Championship of the USC Fall Invitational with a 7-5, 2-6, 6-3 victory over Virginia Tech's Adel Abbas. Prep: Graduated in June 2004 from K.L. Grab in Baden-Baden • Won 2004 Regional Tennis Championship • Played as No.1 local player at TCRW in Baden-Baden • At 18, he ranked in the top 300 on the German national men's tennis • Captain of high school soccer team • Also played golf • Achieved a high overall average (1.8) in German Abiter, finishing with distinction and a merit prize.
