  • What is your favorite class you've taken at UNC? "Blacks in Cinema."
  • What are your career goals? "To be successful and happy. A lot of fields interest me: I'd like to play in the WNBA and be a sports commentator, but I'm also thinking about attending culinary school or maybe mortuary school."
  • On what part of your game have you focused in the off-season? "My mental focus."
  • What is your goal for this season? "To give 110 percent."
  • What is the most important thing you've learned from your years of playing basketball? "Leave everything on the court."
  • What do you do to prepare yourself before each game? "Pray."
  • Who or what has inspired you to excel in basketball? "My father. He started me playing basketball in fifth grade and was always out there with me after school and on weekends, trying to teach me about the game."
  • What word or words best describe you? "Multi-talented"
  • What is the best advice you have received? "'Everything that is good to you is not necessarily good for you,' from my mother."
  • What advice would you give a girl beginning to learn the game of basketball? "Remember that it's a game. If you forget that, then it will not be fun."
  • How would you spend your ideal day? "Watching movies. My favorite is Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory."
  • What is one talent you have, other than basketball? "Cooking. One of my specialties is three-cheese baked penne."
