Briana Blood is in her first year at UNC after joining the staff in the summer of 2005. She serves as an assistant coach, working with the varsity squad along with head coach Sarah Haney. Blood rowed at the University of Connecticut for four years, serving as team captain as a senior. After graduating in 2004, she was an assistant coach on the Huskies' staff during the 2004-05 season. The last two summers, she has coached sculling and sweep classes for Riverfront Recapture, a club in Hartford, Conn., that offers beginner and experienced rowing classes for all ages. |
