Tar Heel Golfers Bow Out At U.S. Women's Amateur
University of North Carolina golfers Sydney Crane and Allie White both lost their first round match at the 2008 U.S. Women's Amateur in Eugene, Ore. Sydney Crane, a rising senior for the Tar Heels, lost to Megan McChrystal, a rising sophomore from LSU, 2&1. Earlier in the day, Allie White, a rising freshman at Carolina, lost to Ellen Mueller, a rising sophomore at Oklahoma, 3&2. (more)
