General - One of the nation's top collegiate midfielders...named a second-team All-America as well as a consensus freshman All-America on UNC's 2006 national championship team...a member of the full U.S. National Team player pool...trained with the national team earlier in 2007.....started 22 games for the Tar Heels at the left halfback spot in `06...missed the first five games of the season playing with the U.S. U20 National Team at the World Championship in Russia...made her Tar Heel debut against Washington on September 8 and then started the final 22 games of the season...ranked as the No. 2 recruit in the nation in the Class of 2006 by Soccer Buzz magazine...coach Anson Dorrance calls her an American player with Brazilian like skills...has great one-on-one abilities combined with the attacking mentality of the Brazilian soccer temperament ...Dorrance says Heath would rather nutmeg a player than dribble around her.

National Team Experience - Currently is a member of the full National Team player pool...earned a spot in the National Team training camp earlier in 2007 as the team prepared to play in this year's World Cup...started this past summer on the U.S. team which played in the Pan American Games in Brazil...the U.S. team was a U20 team which claimed the silver medal, losing to Brazil's full national team in the finals of the Pan Am Games...Played on the U16 Women's National Team from 2002-04 and the U17 team from 2004-05...presently a concurrent member of the U.S. U20 National Team and full national team...started on the U.S. U20 National Team at the 2006 World Championship in Russia...that team took fourth place in the tournament.

Club Soccer -- Played for the PDA Wildcats team that won the 2003 club national championship.

Freshman Season (2006) -- Played in 23 matches, starting in 22 matches, the first time against defending champion Portland on the Pilots' home field...was one of Carolina's top point producers with 17 on four goals and nine assists...scored a goal in her Tar Heel debut against Washington...also scored against Miami, Duke and NC State...had assists in eight different games, including two versus Tennessee in the NCAA Tournament third round...assisted on Heather O'Reilly's first goal in Carolina's regular-season win over Florida State...had her top point game with a goal and an assist against NC State..also had assists against Maryland, Wake Forest, NCSU in the ACC Tournament, UNC Asheville and Navy, the latter two NCAA Tournament contest...was a Soccer Buzz National Freshman of the Year finalist...second-team All-ACC in 2006 and Freshman All-ACC selection...named to Academic All-ACC Women's Soccer Team...named to All-Tournament Team at 2006 NCAA College Cup...a Soccer Buzz second-team All-America...Soccer Buzz' first-team freshman All-America squad and also named to Soccer America's Team....was named second team freshman All-America by Top Drawer Soccer...NSCAA Southeast Region second team...first-team All-Region by Soccer Buzz...The Southeast Regional Freshman of Year as named by Soccer Buzz.
